Finishes
Brushed
As the name implies, brushed marble is made by brushing the stone with hard nylon or steel. The result is a more antique and worn look that is less slippery compared to honed or polished marble.
Acid Washed
An acid-washed finish is the most non-slip finish when it comes to marble. This finish only works with certain colours and gives the stone a rougher texture, depending on the level of acid wash that you want to use.
Polished
Polishing gives the stone a highly reflective sheen that produces the least porous finished surface. This finish gives the stone a very elegant and rich look, providing it with a pinnacle depth of colour.
Honed
This finish is created by buffing the stone slightly less than the highest level. The result is a smooth matte and more natural appearance. A honed finish refers to any level that is less than polished.
